About Us

BRIAN SULLIVAN
Why the shades ? Because if you looked into Brian's eyes, you would be hypnotized by ominous visions of mojo grandiosity, not yet allowed by the ethereal muses for human consumption. So how is it that a mere mortal like Brian is privy to mind altering downloads, that only filter in from the upper strata's of a crossroads in the sky ? Well, he won't tell us, and sometimes he makes things up just to mess with us. What we do know is, as creator of Blues Party Connection, Brian is certainly onto something that strikes a chord with real music lovers. 40 plus years as a musician hasn't hurt him any, in a musical journey that's taken him through almost every metamorphosis that even butterfly's are known to be jealous of. And yes, butterfly's are really cool. The truth is, nobody really knows what's contained in Brian's "proverbial challis of party fun" but he does wish to see you all so drunken on the nectar of great blues, that you'd ask your cousin's really butt ugly friend out for cheap wine and clams. One must only click on the "Listen Now" link of our home-page to find these secret hints of heaven sent sonic pleasures of which we speak.

SCOTT ARMSTRONG
Scott met Brian Sullivan while studying jazz drumming at a Kansas City studio where Brian was an instructor. After getting to know him, Scott hired Brian to fill-in as a guitarist in his band RR Daddy, while his regular guitar player was on vacation. The two became instant friends and soon found that they had much more in common than just music. As a corporate business professional, and as a semi-professional musician, Scott has made a life-long study of great music productions and how they succeed. It is Scott's unique understanding of music, business, and the music business, that prompted Brian Sullivan to request Scott take on a major supporting role with him. Thankfully Scott accepted, and the two now consult each other regularly on the development of Blues Party Connection.

DOUG BRADSHAW

Doug's internet technology expertise continues to be part of the big picture, as we bring you great blues music in new and inventive ways.

DEBBIE ROCKENHAUSER
Being the fiancee of a radio personality like Brian Sullivan might be enough in its self to merit a mention on this web site; but let's stop to consider just some of the contributions Debbie makes to Blues Party Connection. Be it: artwork; photography; voice talent; writing; etc; Debbie is our major contributor behind the scenes. Sharing a home in Stockton, Missouri with two dogs and a bird, Debbie and Brian Sullivan often enjoy a late night discussion on the subject of blues. They also share their talents together in the local blues band DJ & the MUDCATS, with Debbie as singer / harmonica player, and Brian as guitarist / back-up vocalist. Other members are Doug Burns on drums, and Alvin Payne on Bass.
